This record is in fair+ condition. It has lots of light spindle marks visible on the labels but no scuffs, pen marks, fading or staining. The centre holes show a little wear but are not overly loose and overall the iconic unboxed Decca labels are in decent shape but for the large amount of spindle marks.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides have lots of light surface lines on both sides with the odd more sinister looking mark. There is one nasty line of groove wear or damage on side 1 in track 3 which can clearly be felt and is by far the worst issue on the record. Other than this there is nothing that can be felt but there is lots of light lines, marks and sleeve scuffs showing.

So overall a well used record with one nasty mark in track 3(impact on audio described below) and lots of light surface lines. It still has a decent gloss however, is flat with no warping and despite the issues mentioned isnt the uglyiest record you will ever see.

So I play tested the record and it played pretty well for the majority but has a few nasty issues which are not ideal. Firstly it lays flat and there is no sign of warping with little to no movement in the record arm. There is some surface noise audible in the run in but nothing horrific. This mild surface noise is more than likely present throughout both sides but the vast majority is masked well by the audio and so it is really only noticable in between tracks and in some quieter parts.

The main issues on the record are that there is a skip 20 seconds from the end of track 2 and then 4 or 5 skips in quick succession in track 3. These 4 or 5 skips in track 3 are caused by the nasty line mentioned above and do severely disrupt the first half of this track. So obviously these skips are not ideal and is why I have graded low. Once these have passed however the record plays through ok with no further skips and no sticks or loud disruptive clicks. There is light surface noise in parts as I say but nothing to a level for the audio not to be enjoyable. There is also some mild distortion in places but as with many old heavy weight mono lps they tend to last and so it isnt horrific and overall bar the skipping mentioned it is still a decent listen. 

The front laminated sleeve(which has the 'blind man' text present) is in very good- condition. It has wear to the edges and corners(pics), but the writing along the spine is still legible. There are no splits or weak areas however and overall all the edges solid enough. There are no scuffs, tears or pen marks anywhere but there is considerable grubbiness/discolouring to the rear. There is also creasing and ring marks to both sides and so overall the sleeve is solid enough but looks a little shabby due to the age related grubbiness and creasing. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible to its condition.

It contains its original poly-lined inner but this is in poor condition with a large split along one edge, grubbiness, creasing and general age related wear. I will therefore send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
