The top blues rock band only just started to write and record their own compositions with assurance in 1965, and this album has two Jagger/Richards tracks.
The Rolling Stones were now releasing top charting singles, and getting renown across Europe and The US.
Americans were curious for the sounds that were coming from England - and The Stones were hot on the well-cut heels of The Beatles
Decca pressed this outstanding album to cement their reputation and promote their exciting group
A fine example of the second lp, with that special original 'DEEP GROOVE' quality from this wonderful Decca first pressing.
This was the CENSORED cover that got WITHDRAWN and got a paste-over, before a reprint was made.
The offending text frivolously encouraged mugging a blind man to get money to buy this!
I would not advocate that, but this lp IS now a rather good investment - however you get the dough ;?)
CONDITION;
The VINYL has LOVELY shine and the music plays loud & clear, grading EXCELLENT and sounding at least that!
There's a couple of superficial light marks. A tremendous UK vinyl pressing of a album.
Classic Maroon Labels are EXCELLENT with no stickers or writing,, spindle lines only.
The LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE COVER is decent VG++ NO tears or stickers, a couple of minor creases, a name stamped on the rear.
A nice example.
