Description
This is ROLLING STONES No. 2 UK DECCA MONO 1st Pressing LK 4661 Matrix Side A= XARL 6619-1A; Side B=XARL 6620-A. The Rolling Stones No. 2 is the second UK studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released in 1965 following the success of their 1964 debut album The Rolling Stones. It followed its predecessor's tendency to largely feature American R&B and rock and roll covers. However, it does contain three compositions from the still-developing Mick Jagger/Keith Richards songwriting team. The album was originally released by Decca Records in the UK, while the US version appeared on the London Records label. The Original, and only owner, is a New York to Santa Monica, CA transplant. MY QUOTE: "I purchased my albums directly from a Record store, and none are second hand, or flea market finds. NOTE! In the 1960's I was Rolling Stone crazy! I had to purchase Both UK and USA Editions, as they had different songs on them! I purchased this LP Mail Order from the UK via RAVE Magazine. Not sure why they had to paste over the DECCA Label. CONDITION: The condition of the vinyl with a visual inspection is Very Good+, or better. The Cover is Very Good. However, DECCA Label removed from reverse side. Also, the original paper/plastic protective sleeve is included. Shipping note: We remove album from sleeve, so the album cover is not dinged during shipping. Plus, we use standard LP mailing boxes, with extra interior bubble wrap to prevent movement or damage during shipment. We will combine orders to save you money on shipping. Please inquire.
