THE ROLLING STONES No.2 LP Unboxed Decca
This is an original issue UK MONO THICK VINYL PRESSING released on the UNBOXED DECCA RECORD LABEL in 1965, catalogue No: LK 4661.
The Matrix Numbers are Side 1:XARL-6619-1A and Side 2: XARL-6620-2A.
This copy also has the BLIND MAN REFERENCE written on the back sleeve by ANDREW LOOG OLDHAM, soon after it was withdrawn because of bad taste making this even rarer than the regular issue.
"..........If you don't have bread , see that blind man knock him on the head , steal his wallet and low and behold you have the loot , if you put in the boot , good ,another one sold!"
There was considerable pressure put on Decca to reprint the sleeve at the time , to remove the 'offensive' wording...........most copies of this album show up with the later 'censored' sleeves with the shortened notes.
Record is in EXCELLENT condition AND PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY, Sleeve is VG+.
