THE ROLLING STONES SELF-TITLED DEBUT LP
THE ROLLING STONES
CAT. NO. LK 4605
Early 2A/ 3A Matrices featuring all the known errors on the labels: 'Mona', 'Bozier' and 'Hurran, Calvert'.
These errors were quickly rectified and therefore rare to find all of them.
Sleeve: Very Good condition. Has retained it's gloss, coloration and contrast. Corners and edges a few tiny storage wear chips, several crease lines emanating from top and bottom edge and a little bubbling. Lies completely flat and the fold-over's are still well adhered and clean, and the rear panel is quite clean although a little off-white. Robust sturdy card and still looking respectable and structurally sound. No rips, repairs, writing, imprints etc.
The Vinyl: In a Very Good to Very Good Plus condition... Has retained a jet-black glossy pressing sheen over both surfaces and looks to have been played a fair amount but handled well, overall the condition clearly shows the potential for a great audio rendition. There are no warps, no scuffs, no needle drops, no groove wear, no scratches. There are no hairlines which are feel-able or causing major audible issues, although under light the disc does have a fair amount of light coverage of feint hairlines. The surfaces are clean and have retained a lustre and project a strong mirror-like shine. Solid heavy robust vinyl.
Inner Sleeve: Original Decca inner sleeve in Very Good condition with no defects other than light discoloration. The opening seam is neat.
The Labels: Very Good condition. A little amount of play-wear to the spindle perimeter, and there are a small amount of localised spindle line traces to the spindle point but no writing or scuffs.
1H/ 1H Mother's and Stamper's making it an early pressing, for these early matrix numbers.
The Audio: There is very little audible detractions, no particular deviations from the original audio quality which would spoil the listen. It plays well, very clear and lucid with only the occasional tic/ light background in a few of the the linking grooves between tracks, and there is no pick-up of any background over the main audio, although there is the occasional tic apparent in some of the fade in's and fade out's. Lucid instrumental detail with deep warm mono channelling and bass and loud and punchy vocals. No jumps, no pops, no skips, no over-powering background noise, no sticks etc. Would say Very Good Plus audio which plays well and sounds great.

The vinyl will be contained in a generic inner sleeve and placed next to the main sleeve.
Comes in a high-grade PVC protective sleeve.
