This is a very good condition copy of The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers. The cover is excellent +. The record has minimal marks, but one visible scratch on the B side although it has very minimal interference with playback. Where the scratch looks like it would be most noticeable (Bitch) I can barely here anything, possibly just a very slight click just detectable occasionally. It can be heard between track 1 and 2 and into the start of I Got the Blues which is a quieter track. This record would otherwise be excellent+. But for me it does not interfere. 
I have played it through twice and the music is very clear and strong but in quieter moments there can be some surface noises present. There is no deterioration of the music. It sounds great. The guitar on Can't You Hear me Knocking [playing just now] sounds fantastic. 
It is a first pressing, with numbers A4 and B4. 
It does not have Promotone on the labels which makes it clear that this is a first press, some of which were sent out in a gatefold sleeve. The zipper is a small flat straight edged one with two parallel lines. Very early. 
“Sticky Fingers is the ninth British and eleventh American studio album by the English rock band The Rolling Stones, released in April 1971. It is the band's first album of the decade and the first release on the band's new label Rolling Stones Records, after having been contracted since 1963 with Decca Records in the UK and London Records in the US. It is also Mick Taylor's first full-length appearance on a Rolling Stones album and the first Rolling Stones album not to feature any contributions from guitarist and founder Brian Jones.
Sticky Fingers is considered one of the Rolling Stones' best albums. It achieved triple platinum certification in the US, with songs such as the chart-topping "Brown Sugar," the country ballad "Dead Flowers", "Wild Horses," "Can't You Hear Me Knocking," and "Moonlight Mile". The original cover artwork, conceived by Andy Warhol and photographed and designed by members of his art collective, The Factory, was highly innovative, showing a sexually suggestive picture of a man in tight jeans complete with a fully working zipper that opened to reveal a pair of underwear. Owing to the damage caused by the zipper to the vinyl disc, and the expense in producing the unusual cover, later re-issues featured just the outer photograph of the jeans.”

First edition of the label, because it does not have the inscription "A Promotone N.V. RECORD": Promotone company was founded only a few months later in September 1971, while "Sticky Fingers" was released in April 1971.
The zipper on front cover is completely blank with 2 indented lines.
This kind of zip is made of far higher quality of metal of the usual ones, and is easy to spot & date - when compared to similar clothing zips made in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
It is a very early made one.
The set contains also an insert with a pic of the Band on one side and credits & lyrics on the other side.
Insert says "Printed in England by Richard Davis Ltd."
Sleeve is open at both top and bottom of sleeve.
