Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by The Rolling Stones, Sticky Fingers.
This was released by Rolling Stones records in 1971 and has catalogue number COC59100. This is the 1st pressing with a real zip on the sleeve.
Condition: The sleeve has one fault which is a small discreet piece missing from the top edge, where the belt is (please check the pictures), there is also some light buffing to the bottom corners and one place on the bottom edge. The real zip is in fine condition with no tears or scuffing to where the zip is. the zip works perfectly well, lastly I would say there is a heavy fingering indentation to the top edge. Because of the piece missing, be it only small and discreet, I can only grade this at Good.
Labels: Both labels are clean. Under close examination some tiny spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole is fine and shows little sign of wear.
This comes with its original inner sleeve.
This also comes with its original insert which is Mint.
The vinyl on both sides retains its near new shine. Under the closer examination some scratches can be seen. Despite the way it looks it actually plays very badly. It jumps on the 1st track of side 1, it then goes on to play ok with some feckling heard in places on both sides. as it stands I can only grade this at fair.
Probably a little better than the grading suggests, a worthy gap filler or simply to have the original zip sleeve in full working order.
