Description
The Rolling Stones 'Sticky Fingers' 1971 UK original vinyl album on The Rolling Stones label, catalogue number COC 59100 (stereo)

This is a medium weight vinyl and it is not warped. Both sides of the record have a scattering of light surface scratches and small scuff marks, most are probably caused by bag movement and may be one or two by light stylus contact, but I cannot feel any of them with light fingertip touch. The record has clearly been played quite often, but the surfaces still retain a reasonable shine and it plays very nicely indeed. There is a little light crackle here and there, only noticeable on the non-recorded and quieter sections, and there are a few random ticks, but nothing serious and nothing distracting. Overall the audio is of a very high standard - clear and enjoyable with very little lessening of quality compared with new. There are no sticks, no skips, no jumps.
The track titles can be seen on the label photographs. The labels show a fair amount of light spindle lines - no writing, no damage.
The cover is the original notorious Andy Warhol design with the zip on the front and this is a decent example in very presentable condition. It is completely intact with the 'underpants' insert and fully working zip, which does not show any sign of corrosion. The 'buckle' is creased, there is a brown stain in the middle of the right hand seam, corner tip rub wear and random small indents and surface wear - it also shows signs of handling being slightly discoloured towards the edges. The 'underpants' insert has a few indents where the zip backs on to it (this cannot be seen from the outside). Overall this is a tidy and fully intact cover consistent with the album.
The spine has some light discolouration and slight rub wear, although all text remains readable (two letters from the title are slightly faded but still readable).
The insert, with The Rolling Stones logo on one side plus track titles and credits, and the group photo on the other side, is in excellent condition - just minor signs of handling and a few small brown spots on the track titles and credits side.
The inner sleeve is plain cream paper, not lined, printed with a patent number and 'Made In Great Britain'. It is clean and tidy with no writing or significant damage and no seam splits, just light discolouration and some creasing.
I have checked the Record Collector grading system and I would say that the cover / insert are 'very good+' / 'excellent', the vinyl is visually 'very good+' and the audio is generally 'excellent'
I have described this as carefully and honestly as possible, but it is a no return item so please bid accordingly.
It will be packed in a strong record mailing box with two pieces of card inside for further protection.
