The Rolling Stones : Sucking In The Seventies A1/B1 1st Press

I purchased a collection recently among which were a stunning set of Stones' records.  I have listed a number of them already and have graded each track individually.  Such is their quality there is no real need to do this but rest assured I will still listen to every track in full so as to provide a 'correct' grading and will state any imperfections even if minor.

Play grading

S1 is Mint from start to finish with no interference of any kind and the only 'background' as such is one mega light tick on 'Shattered'.  Blink and you miss it!  The clarity and definition could not be any more impressive.  S2 is of the same standard and even the quiet intro on the first track 'Mannish Boy' plays with impeccable clarity.  'If I Was A Dancer' has one barely audible tick on the intro and then plays perfectly as do the remaining tracks.  'Beast Of Burden' ends the album with a clarity that cannot be faulted - the fade out does not even have a single dust tick!  In essence this first pressing is 'like new' and I suspect it has never been played before, the playback certainly certainly suggests that.

Visual grading

The vinyl is visually stunning with a beautiful jet-black glossy sheen.  There are no marks, scratches or hairlines and no spindle wear either.  It is 'shop fresh' without a doubt, it is immaculate in every sense.  It is now 40 years old don't forget!

The Cover & Inner

The cover is 'as new' with no shelf wear at all, it is pristine.  No edge, corner or spine wear and no marking on the front and back cover.  The original inner sleeve is also in perfect condition.

Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers

This record has been cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine

I grade according to "Record Collector" guidelines.
