Description
My listings will include rare and not so rare but as vinyl is in such demand these days I'll be covering the whole spectrum, as I firmly believe there is a market for everything. All records have been sourced from Joe Public, and are not from shoddy wholesale job lots. I've a huge stock of records at the moment so if there is anything you are after drop me an email or I can be seen on the Record Fair circuit....next fair is at ON THE WALL, BOAR LANE, LEEDS on SATURDAY 31ST JULY ! Check out "Record Fairs worth visiting - Leeds" on FACEBOOK ....dates will shortly be announced for BLACKWAX MANIAX next fair at THE COCKPIT, LEEDS. If you love vinyl and don't attend fairs, shame on you!!!! Some of the fairs currently on offer are superb and are far more pleasurable experience than sitting at home, trawling the internet for those shabby so called mint records. Rest assured, MINT means MINT (no marks/no scratches/no spindle marks/faultless vinyl/faultless sleeve)....and I'm not afraid to use the term VERY GOOD which, incidentally, does not mean trashed !!!! I'll be continually listing some great stuff so keep an eye out.
AND REMEMBER, MOST IMPORTANTLY, VINYL IS FOR PLAYING !!!!!!
Hard to find in this condition...THE ROLLING STONES "Sticky fingers" UK 1971 ROLLING STONES RECORDS COC 59100 STEREO 10 track.
TRACK LISTING...Brown sugar / Sway / Wild horses / Can't you hear me knocking / You gotta move / Bitch / I got the blues / Sister Morphine / Dead flowers / Moonlight mile.
MATRIX NUMBERS A3 B4.
CRISP SLEEVE !! INSERT !! VINYL PLAYED but PLAYS EX !! NOT THE USUAL USED AND ABUSED EXAMPLE !! NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE NEAR A LOFT or GARAGE !!! IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS !!!
CONDITION
SLEEVE
The classic "ZIPPER" sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition !! A solid, crisp sleeve with only a few light creases round the edges, a few indentations, slight wear to a couple of the corners, and some creasing to the right belt buckle section....but no tears !. There is no edge wear, no ring wear, no dings/dents, no discolouration, no grubbiness, no tears, no writing , no stickers, no sellotape, no seam splits, slight thumbing and the aforementioned creasing to parts of the opening edge, and only some light patches of wear to a square spine !! The zipper needs a little coaxing to move (could possibly do with a little WD40!?) and does slide all the way up and down...and is still perfectly attached to the sleeve !! FIND A BETTER ONE !!! The sleeve grades VERY GOOD+++
INSERT
The card pic insert has a message written in biro on one side and grades EXCELLENT++
VINYL
The record has clearly been played....has a few surface marks / scuffs, and only a few of the lightest sleeve removal marks when viewed at an angle under a bright light !! FIND A BETTER ONE !! The vinyl grades VERY GOOD++ (Plays EXCELLENT)
LABELS
The labels grade near MINT , with quite a few visible spindle marks on each side, with no wear to the spindle hole and no other unwanted wear or writing !!
PLEASE NOTE: SOME OF THESE RECORDS HAVEN'T BEEN CLEANED, AND WHILST BEING VERY CLEAN IN APPEARANCE WOULD BENEFIT FROM A GOOD DEEP CLEAN TO ERADICATE ANY BACKGROUND NOISE AND STATIC !!
STILL NOT SURE, THEN CHECK MY FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE!
Please bid with confidence as my descriptions are accurate and honest (check my feedback)....when grading/describing, as a vinyl addict, I always think "what would I want to know?"!. In order to achieve this I describe in the factual detail required for buyers to make there own decisions.....I won't try and mislead, and won't overlook flaws in order to hike up the price ! As you can see I usually use two pics at the most.....if ,however, you do require more close ups please do not hesitate to contact me and this can be arranged through email. However, for any reason you are unhappy I do offer a money back guarantee (less postage costs).
