Description
THE ROLLING STONES around & around FRENCH DECCA LP Laminated front Mono 158.012!
Original FRENCH LP with fully laminated sleeve, back sleeve flip over edges and the original record company white paper/poly lined (die-cut) protective inner sleeve, released in 1965, on the DECCA label.
Catalogue number: 158.012 (Mono).
VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD CONDITION (*Plays mostly EXCELLENT)
An original thinly designed French issued fully laminated sleeve with back sleeve flip over edging, mainly clean and in VERY GOOD+ condition, displaying some light sleeve wear. Some light partial (mainly outline) record sleeve ring wear, tiny front sleeve tear on the middle record insert edge, small bottom middle sleeve print rub/scuff (but not split), small corner rub top right hand side, some light partial browning/foxing marks on the back sleeve mainly in/around the top left hand corner area, a few blobs of grey paint on the back sleeve and a small edge knock on the middle of the bottom back sleeve fold over edging. There are no rips/tears (apart from the tiny one already mentioned), no seem splits, no other edge wear and no sleeve creases.
The original Inner record company die-cut paper/poly lined inner protective sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition, clean with light creasing and some handling wear evident, but no major damage.
Record labels are smooth but slightly textured and in NEAR MINT condition, clean with no damage and with some faint light spindle hole marks on both sides.
Playing surfaces and matrix areas are in VERY GOOD condition (graded by appearance), surface marks/scuffs are evident on both sides, medium, small and tiny, all are smooth and light with nothing heavy or unsightly that you can feel or that adversely affect the sound, some are noticeable but most are predominately hairline/fine line types which show up more when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light.
*Record plays mostly EXCELLENT both sides, clean sound throughout with no noticeable loud background crackles or clicks, some minor low level surface noise can be heard infrequently, however this is slight/light and not consistent throughout.
Downsizing my personal collection: Early original French Rolling Stones record with clean cover in VERY GOOD+ condition and plays mainly EXCELLENT.
