Description
This is an original first pressing of the Stones answer to Sgt Pepper in the form of "Their Satanic Majesties Request" MONO TXL 103 Matrix numbers ARL 8126-1P & ARL 8127-P1 On UNBOXED DECCA label. Featuring a thick and quite heavy hologram in perfect condition on front cover. The album includes its originally RED CLOUDS inner sleeve. The album cover is in fantastic condition no writing, no creasing no peeling. Nice firm corners and fully readable spine to record. Have test played the vinyl and reproduction is clean and loud with no distortion. And amazingly quite between tracks in the dead wax except for occasional light static. There are some light handling marks but very few that as tested have no effect on playback. I therefore grade vinyl very good plus/Ex minus please see grading below. NEAR MINT. virtually unplayed no visible sign of wear.
EXCELLENT. Minor surface wear that shouldn't have any real effect.
VERY GOOD PLUS. Some light surface marks through handling but nothing nasty and plays well.
VERY GOOD. Some surface wear might crackle certainly on quiet passages or the intro.
GOOD. Lot of visible surface wear but if the record is a loud song might still reproduce the record quite well.
FAIR. Very poor quality and appearance but might still play through without sticking or other defect
