Factory-sealed original 1984 U.S. pressing of Madonna’s Like a Virgin on Sire Records (catalog 1-25157). Iconic breakthrough album featuring “Material Girl,” “Angel,” “Dress You Up,” and the title track; remains unopened in original shrink wrap.
Expanded Condition Evaluation:
Enclosed in original factory shrink wrap, largely intact and unbroken along edges, corners, and spine. A small localized tear (≈1–2 cm) is present on the front shrink film in the upper-right area with minor associated lifting; this is cosmetic, does not penetrate to the jacket, and does not compromise overall seal integrity. Shrink-specific details: typical age wrinkling and creasing; slight corner lifting with trace paper-fiber exposure at two corners; light surface scuffing to film along edges; faint isolated oxidation spotting on shrink (does not affect jacket). Retail stickers (“Peaches® $7.96” and inventory “1184 8”) affixed only to shrink. No ring wear, seam splits, corner dings, creases, fading, water damage, or writing on jacket. Artwork colors remain bold and saturated.
