THE SEARCHERS - "Don't Throw Your Love Away" & "I Pretend I'm With You"
Format - 12" single sided acetate
Condition - Excellent
Country and year of maufacture - UK 1964
This has got to be one of the bizarrest Searchers items ever to appear! It's a 12" single sided actetate which contains two tracks that were issued as a 45 on Pye. I have no idea why Decca cut this lacquer, nor why it's on a 12" instead of the usual 7". I've played through both tracks, and these are the released versions. It belonged to someone who worked at Decca between the 50's and 70's, so keep checking back every now and then, as there's more to come.
