Up for auction is a copy of What’s The Use With Pretending by The Shaded, a one-sided acetate with a Trident Recording Studios label. I can find no evidence on the web that this single was ever issued, although the original artist name has been crossed out (making it frustratingly illegible) and “The Shaded” written in a different hand. So who knows? Decent post-punk meets minimal synth pop, certainly of a releasable quality.
Condition: a little minor wear, but pretty decent for an acetate. Easily VG+. Here's a sample:
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale.
