Description

Up for auction is a nice copy of the Original Motion Picture Sound Track to the Stanley Kubrick horror classic "The Shining" originally released in the U.S. on Warner Brothers Records (HS 3449) in 1980.

-Guaranteed original pressing
-A1/B2 stampers in matrix
-Original WB poly inner sleeve
-Vinyl will come in audiophile poly-lined inner sleeve

Condition:
The cover is still in nice condition, bright and colorful.  Front does have some mild ring wear, and some rubbing along spine.  A couple very light spots.  Seams are strong, intact, no splits just some rubbing.  Corner are good, just a little rubbed.  Back has some mild ring wear at top.  Overall, still an attractive cover that's been well-cared-for.  Grade the cover Very Good Plus (VG+).

The vinyl is also very nice, retains much of its original high gloss shine.  Generally, appears very clean with a couple very faint, superficial hairlines and needle marks, but nothing serious, or that will affect the quality of playback.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes.  Looks nicely preserved.  Play tested, the record sounds very nice with some very mild surface noise on the lead-in groove and a few spots here and there, but overall sound quality is nice.  Not audiophile clean, but still an enjoyable listen.  Grade the vinyl a solid Very Good Plus (VG+).
