THE SILVERTONES - 'SILVER BULLETS' - STEREO VINYL LP  - TROJAN  - TRLS 69  - 1973

Description

A 33 1/3 RPM stereo vinyl LP, 'Silver Bullets' by Jamaican reggae band, The Silvertones

The album was released in 1973 on Trojan Records.

This was the debut album from The Silvertones. Recorded at King Tubby's Studio in Kingston, Jamaica.

The tracks are a combination of original compositions and covers (including The Archies' "Sugar, Sugar"

The three vocalists are :- Delroy Denton, Keith Coley, and Gilmore Grant

Produced by Lee 'Scratch' Perry

The sleeve has photos of the band front (colour) and back (b&w) and was designed by Dave Field. The track listing appears to have been printed separately and pasted over the original listing printed on the sleeve (from what I can make it this appears to be from the The Upsetters 'Double Seven' LP).
