Description
THE SIX TEENS - A CASUAL LOOK / TEEN AGE PROMISE 7" 45 UK 1956 ORIGINAL
AS uper Doo-Wop song about the soldier boy and the underage girl who got married anyway, before the GI was sent overseas. As she says, “All it took was a Casual look.” A great record that reached No.25 in the US charts. Flip is a teenage promise to always be true.
The Six Teens were from Los Angeles, California. They signed with Flip records in 1955 as the Sweet Teens. Lead singer Trudy Williams (then 14 yrs old), Louise Williams (sister of Trudy) and Beverly Pecot were the three girls. Ed Wells, Daryl Lewis & Kenneth Sinclair rounded out the sextet. The Six Teens recorded for Flip Records until 1960.
