This Near Perfect Album has been in my personal collection since I purchased it in 1968There are only a handful of great English psychedelic albums of the 1960s . Ogden is among them and up there with Pink Floyd's "Piper At the Gates of Dawn",
What's so good about Ogden, well on Side 1 there are six great psychedelic pop songs, the best being Lazy Sunday afternoon and Afterglow
On Side 2 , there is the hilarious story of Happiness Stan, narrated by Stanley Unwin. The wonderful journey of Happiness Stan, living in his multicoloured dream world.
This is a surreal piece of music but it is very enjoyable.
This album is one of the great 60s collectables it was the first ever Rock Opera and what's more it is Packaged in an award winning round sleeve designed by GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE LTD.
This copy of the Album is as Near to Perfect that a 36 year old vinyl that has been played can get. I can't recommend this Album highly enough. I don't normally rate my albums as Perfect but with this one I am tempted
It is worthy of any collection for its sleeve alone but this Album is unique
