Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Rolling Stones, Beatles (and related) and 60’s beat records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare UK 1st STEREO pressing of The Small Faces – Small Faces on the Immediate label, cat. no. IMSP 008.
The record is in VG condition; there are some non-sounding hairlines and some non-sounding marks. There is also a long scratch on side 2 that starts at the end of track 3 and ends at the end of the record. This scratch makes a light ticking sound on every pass. The labels are in VG condition; there are many spindle marks and some light wear around the spindle hole on both sides.
The cover, a Garrod & Lofthouse printed one, is in VG condition; besides the normal wear and tear, there is some loss of paint along the top seam on the front, there is some light ring wear on the front and there is some age browning on the back.
Although not in mint condition, this is an extremely rare UK first STEREO pressing of The Small Faces’ third album, simply called Small Faces. U.K. pressed stereo copies were meant for export only and there were made in very tiny amounts. Just how often does a STEREO copy of this album surfaces? This is a unique opportunity to complete your life-time Small Faces record collection! Happy Bidding!
