The original 1983 7” 45rpm first pressing UK release of “The Smiths” Hand In Glove (flipside) Handsome Devil (Live at The Hacienda, Manchester) “RT 131” This has the “Manchester Contact Address” and “Endless Gratitude to Joe and Janet” and Sleeve by the Smiths listed. Distributed by The Cartel – IDS on the back cover. Rigid sleeve with a blue label and silver text and solid center, publishers are “Glad Hips music” and the “Rough Trade logo” on top.


Cover Art Work by Jim French founder of Cult Studios. Margaret Walters claims: "Certain photographers and agencies - most notably, Jim French, have developed a market for genuinely evocative and stunningly photographed male nudes, that perhaps escape the limits of the mere pinup. They are a protest, and an important and valid one, against the unthinking assumption that beauty belongs only to women..."  

 

Disc Condition:

In excellent to near mint condition, with a beautiful Shine, And nearly no sign of use.

Sleeve Condition

Excellent, (see pictures) showing only small minor crimps on the opening side of sleeve.

I am throwing in a plain white paper sleeve for added vinyl protection and clear plastic sleeve to protect the Smiths original cover art sleeve.
