THE SMITHS MEAT IS MURDER Rough Trade 85 A1B2 UK 1st pr nr EX VINYL Rough Trade Records UK 1st press with printed inner sleeve. Has Illness as Art inscribed in runout grooves as well as earliest A1B2 Matrix nos . SLEEVE unfortunately at some point has got stuck to another record & there is some slight loss to the surface on rear, although from the front sleeve is very nr EX condition. Please study the pictures so downgraded from nr EX to good to VG condition. 
INNER SLEEVE is in lovely EX+ condition, LABELS are nr EX condition with a few spindle marks,
 VINYL is very nr EX condition. Play tested excellent. Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve.

This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable 

fitted with a Goldring stylus,


Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers 

that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.

With a Quad Amp set-up.

 

 For accurate visual grade (like all my records)

This record has been professionally cleaned using an 

Okki Nokki cleaning machine.


First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and 

finished off with L?art du son / purified water mix.


The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have

 from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.


The l?art du son mix seems to smooth out any 

brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
