Description

THE SMITHS - Meat Is Murder - Vinyl LP - US 1st Press 1-25269 - 1985. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Bought this album at the Beacon Theatre Show NYC.

Check my other auctions. You can but from an OG tastemaker-Moi. Never heard of the Smiths until the night where I followed an artful dodger and believe me he was. We snuck in the show my friend somehow convinced a couple different people to give them an extra or a friends ticket with the promise he’ll return them. We settled on the bottom step to the first balcony and no one bothered us the entire show. Forget about that happening these days. So as the band began their sound which was the strum of Johnny Marr and the bleating and echoing of the sounds of cows presumably under stress. So my friend the artful dodger was surreptitiously put a vial if RUSH without me noticing and the sounds of that song with a now ever expanding balloon head. What a night. Life long fan here seen them again on Pier 84 on a glorious summer night in NYC with a high school crush as my date. Life was good. I kind of learn quite a few things that night the least of which was my date. The night belonged to the music.
