Welcome to a auction for the 1985 first pressing of the Smiths' Meat is Murder LP on US Sire / Rough Trade 1-25269. It is the rarer version with How Soon is Now on side two, not listed on the cover. The vinyl is VG+, no real issues at all, just some very light marks that cannot be felt and you have to look pretty hard to see them. The vinyl is nice and shiney, a pro ultrasonic cleaning would probably make it near excellent. The cover I rate as VG, with small signs of storage wear, and the left side of the cover top and bottom corners have seen a drop or two (see pictures). The original inner sleeve is VG+, no rips or tears. Nice example of a original Meat is Murder.
