- From my own Smiths/Morrissey 300 records personal collection.

- From my own personal collection, was NEVER PLAYED when in my position, kept in a special metal box for records and thus its fantastic condition.
- This is a very interesting 12" pressing of the classic Smiths single 'The Boy With The Thorn In His Side'; it is a 1985 pressing for the Canada market and is a promotional copy with a large gold stamp on the reverse.
- What is instantly noticeable about this variation is that the sleeve has black lettering denoting the band name instead of the more familiar orange font and arguably looks better than the orange version.
- The reverse of the sleeve is also unique in that, as well as the large gold promotional stamp, the credits are particular to this Canada release and the font is entirely black as opposed to the mixture of brown and orange seen on the more common sleeve design.
- In addition, the labels on the record itself have a superb Warner Bros. crest design (see pictures) which really sets this apart as a different desirable version of a well-known 12" record and which also has the added scarcity of being a promotional copy.
- This is a terrific opportunity to get hold of this genuinely rare and original Smiths collectable record in superb condition.
- The sleeve, vinyl and labels are all in near mint condition and the vinyl seems as it was never played before.
- Consequently, it seems set to become ever more rare and accumulate in value as interest in original Morrissey and Smiths pressings continues to grow at a rapid rate.
