The Smiths - Strangeways,Here We Come German LP Charcoal Grey Vinyl Embossed Sleeve , Promo Postcard ****TEXT ON SPINE IS GREEN TINT*** Instead of Brown. Minor Creasing on sleeve Vinyl inner sleeve and postcard NM.
Germany LP [RT Deutschland RTD60]
As usual the only format released by Rough Trade Deutschland was the LP. The initial and most common pressing was manufactured on dark charcoal coloured vinyl. The labels are almost identical to the British ones. They are of a richer black and a few alterations were made to the text: the catalogue number was changed, a GEMA box was added and the "Made in England" line was removed. The inner sleeve is coloured gold but it is made of thin paper. More interestingly, the background image of a smiling Richard Davalos was reversed, so it appears from the left instead of the right like almost everywhere else. The band name and title on the front of the sleeve are somewhere between maroon and grey and "The Smiths" is embossed. The catalogue number on the back was changed for the German one, Rough Trade Deutschland credits were added at the bottom and there is no barcode. Some if not all copies came with a merchandise mail-order postcard inside.
