Description
12" 45 rpm maxi-single "WILLIAM IT WAS REALLY NOTHING" by The Smiths, UK issue from 1984 on Rough Trade RTT 166. Exc - Nr Mint. Sleeve in VERY GOOD condition. B side has "HOW SOON IS NOW" and "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME GET WHAT I WANT".
Cat : RTT194 on Rough Trade
The etched matrices are RTT 166 A1. "THE IMPOTENCE OF ERNEST" and RTT 162 B2. "ROMANTIC AND SQUARE IS HIP AND AWARE", which I believe makes it a 1st Pressing.
There is a visible mark on side 2 near the start but it has no effect on the audio. There are a number of faint paper lines (usually caused by the inner sleeve) but these are inaudible. The labels are clean with no writing, stickers, stains or scuffs. Overall clean shiny vinyl that plays superbly. Outer sleeve has very minor bumping and creasing and there are still signs of sticker adhesive in the top right hand corner. Generic inner sleeve.
All records are manually cleaned (using brushes, cloths and specialist cleaning fluid) before listening and again before dispatch to ensure optimum sound quality.
Further photos available on request. Please feel free to ask any questions. I ship in purpose-made strong cardboard mailers. Multiple purchases will be combined for reduced overall P&P where possible (usually 2 or 3 records will ship at this stated price).
