1988 - ROUGH TRADE RECORDS -  ROUGH DAT 126

RARE.  

This DAT Tape is in excellent MINT shape.  The tape is perfect and the cover is also.  Needless to say, it has never been played.  What a way to end our Smiths and Morrissey listing binge ~ DAT !!!!

This is the only time any title by the Smiths or Morrissey was ever released on DAT format, so there's no need to say how much this is sought after by collectors (despite the fact that most of you can't even play DATs). The front shows a cropped variation on the usual artwork. The back is brown and features the track listing in white at the top, and credits below in black. The spines are also brown with "The Smiths" in white and the rest ("Rank", logos) in black. The insert unfolds twice. The first panel is all brown with credits at the top in white and more credits at the bottom in black. The second panel is a repeat of the Alexandra Bastedo artwork, but it is tinted brown instead of grey. The Rough Trade address is printed at the bottom. The DAT tape is made of black plastic with release information printed on it in white.
