Description
The Smiths original 1984 vinyl LP, 'The Smiths.'
This stereo album is a Rough Trade white label version, with the catalogue number Rough 61. It is produced by John Porter and was made in England.
Overall it is in VERY GOOD condition. The sleeve, which features Joe Dallesandro from Andy Warhol's 'Flesh', is in VERY GOOD condition, with some ringwear on the back. The record is in EXCELLENT condition. 'White labels' or 'test pressings' were advanced copies of the record that were submitted to the record company for approval before production began of the finished copies. This record may have been played once or twice; white labels were not intended to be played many times. The record is in a white paper inner sleeve with a poly lining, with a separate illustrated inner bag featuring the lyrics on the back.
The matrix numbers are Side 1 - Rough 61 A1, Side 2 - Rough 61 B1.
