I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A LARGE COLLECTION FROM AN OLD MUSIC INDUSTRY PERSON, THE COLLECTION INCLUDES MANY UNIQUE PROMOS, TEST PRESSINGS, WHITE LABELS, FIRST PRESSINGS AND ALL ORIGINAL AND IN NEAR MINT COLLECTION, OR EVEN UNPLAYED, BANDS LIKE: JOY DIVISION, U2, DEPECHE MODE, PEARL JAM, THE SMITHS, PAUL WELLER, OASIS, GARY NUMAN, SMASHING PUMPINKS ETC... SO KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS !!!
This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK ORIGINAL TEST PRESSING COPY OF THE SMITHS - THE SMITHS, 1984 DEBUT ALBUM, ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING IN NEAR MINT UNPLAYED CONDITION AND A MUST !!! This is a VERY RARE THE SMITHS ORIGINAL TEST PRESSING !!! As you can see this TEST PRESSING comes with a white cardboard sleeve and includes the ORIGINAL DOUBLE SIDED PROMO INSERT / INFORMATION SHEET which has a photo of the intended front cover on one side and BAND BIOG / ALBUM INFORMATION / GIG INFORMATION and RELEASE INFORMATION on the other side !!! The album came out on ROUGH TRADE RECORDS, catalogue number ROUGH 61. The matrices are: SIDE 1: ROUGH-61 A1 and TIMTOM/CA and A and O machine stamped on the 9 and 3 o'clock positions, SIDE 2: ROUGH-61 B1 and A and O machine stamped on the 9 and 3 o'clock positions. The condition is: VINYL is in NEAR MINT condition (UNPLAYED !!!), comes with a WHITE CARDBOARD SLEEVE WITH PROMO INFORMATION SHEET both in EX+++ condition (Promo sheet was folded in the middle, white cardboard sleeve has very minor marks as can be expected).
