Description
THE SOFT MACHINE 1st
I will try my best to describe this record as honestly as possible. Photographs are included to help you assess condition and value. I accept that sometime issues like "sound quality" can be subjective so I offer a no quibble return policy if your purchase does not meet your expectations.
Overview: If you are looking for a near mint copy, this is not for you. US imported original 1st Stereo pressing from 1968. Vinyl visually vg++, audio good. Sleeve has seam splits and general wear (see photos).
ABC: PROBECPLP-4500 Stereo
1968
- Matrix side 1: CPLP-4500AS-2LW P17 LW
- Matrix side 2: CPLP-4500B-SB-255 LW
Labels: Are very good with only minor spider trails around the spindle hole.
Vinyl: is visually very good with only a small number of scuffs and minor hairlines even under bright light. Audio is strong with no loss of detail or fidelity but there is noticeable audible background noise in quiet a number of places. To my ears it is still an enjoyable listening experience but if you are looking for an excellent copy, please give this one a miss.
Inner sleeve: The original long gone. It will be sent with a high quality replacement.
The record will be posted out in a professional cruciform mailer (pizza box style) with corrugated card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the outer sleeve prior to shipping. If the inner sleeve is original, I will put the disc in a generic sleeve to avoid damage to the original. The album will also be housed in a PVC protective sleeve.
I don't spend all day hooked up to my computer but will guarantee to answer any questions within 24 hours.
I unconditionally guarantee anything I sell, so buy with confidence.
