Tremendous 'BLUESWAILIN' ' rhythm and blues from an original legend of the blues boom. Various ROLLING STONES and other young upstarts in London's burgeoning beat scene, were playing with this man. Long John Baldry even took over his band eventually as 'The Hoochie Coochie Men'. Future Cream members in The Graham Bond Organisation, Alexis Korner's band, and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers also jammed. Davies was an American, who knew how to play the blues, so with the enthusiastic young musicians in Britain hungry to participate, he quickly found his students! This EP compiles both his excellent 45s on the same lable. Of course... it's great! Nice to own in this condition too.
