Tamla Motown (Prodisa) TD-068 / 1965 / Argentina
Tal Vez No Haya Mañana (Tomorrow May Never Come) b/w Te Amare Siempre (I'll Always Love You)
This seriously rare specimen belongs to the Triassic period of Tamla Motown editions released in Argentina,
and probably most parts of South America (early-to-mid 60s).
But there are even other aspects to be kept in mind.
Some collectors know that the earliest Tamla Motown editions released in Argentina were distributed
and manufactured by the RCA Victor record company.
However, this is not the case, because before that distribution deal they were temporarily managed by Prodisa
(a small and ephemeral label) during a few months.
These hardly-known and earliest editions differ in some aspects, such as the rare Prodisa sleeve (it is virtually extinct),
and the extreme scarcity, as most significant.
This copy was found unaltered, and it was stored for 50 years,
so we can firmly confirm this was the original company sleeve.
As usual in this region, the record spins at 33-rpm, and the titles were translated into Spanish.
The name of the group was spelled wrong as The "Spiners".
Record: A-side: VG / B-side: G+(+) to VG, .......... (It has some light scuff marks, mainly on the B-side). .......... Both labels are absolutely clean, .......... (NO stickers, dirt, spindle marks, ink stamps and/or wear, there is a small number written on the A-side). .......... Sleeve: N/A, it comes housed in its original company sleeve.
