Description
You are bidding on "LUCY LOU" and "A DREAM COME TRUE" by THE SQUIRES on KICKS 1 recorded in October, 1954.
The Squires were from Pasadena, California forming in 1954 at John Muir High School. Their idols were the Crows, the 5 Blind Boys and the Dixie Hummingbirds. This is a really well done doowop song. "She's the ugliest girl that you've ever seen, looks like the devil only twice as mean, Lucy Lou".
I found this record in a flea market about 1990. It looked new when I bought it and I've probably played it no more than ten times.
The label is pink, though my camera didn't like to to show it quite pink.
Condition: EX. Plays beautifully! No scratches or scuffs on "Lucy Lou"; one hairline 1/2" scratch on "A Dream Come True". I have carefully cleaned this with only a wet, soft cloth.
I am getting up in years and am selling my small collection, as my children and grandchildren are not interested.
Please bid with confidence, if you are not happy with any record, return it for a refund. I want my customers to be happy with their purchase
If buying more than one record, please do not pay until I have sent an invoice.
