Description

TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing more old and rare 45's these next few weeks, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - thank you in advance. This ultra rare, "Promotional - Not For Sale" 45 by The Stone Poneys (from the very beginning years when no one knew of Linda Ronstadt) is entitled "So Fine/Everybody Has Their Own Ideas" from 1968. The A-side is a great version of the old Fiestas hit and all of this is on the obscure, Sidewalk Label - apparently this group's very 1st label. In addition, this is a "Promotional - Not For Sale" copy, provided to radio DJs only, and it's in super nice, near mint condition - and amazingly, it even comes with a Sidewalk Records company sleeve (see the pictures above). LABEL INFO: This original, white colored, "promo" Sidewalk Label (937) is super clean and nice with nothing in any serious need of a mention at all - in fact, the radio station stamped a date on one side (Dec 11, 1967). I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice, and again, I can see nothing negative to mention here at all. Like the label, the vinyl looks as clean and nice as the day it was 1st pressed - it's in great shape and perhaps wasn't ever played even. PICTURE SLEEVE: There is no picture sleeve, but amazingly, I have a nicely conditioned Sidewalk Records company sleeve to include here as well (again, view the pics above)! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this highly collectible, very 1st Stone Poneys release (with Linda Ronstadt on vocal) - as a "promotional" 45 - is about as clean and nice as they come, so please check it out and have at it. As always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
