Description
ORIGINAL 1969 VEDETTE RECORDS with the GATEFOLD COVER.
Yes, you are looking at the rarest STOOGES record of them all .
A TRUE CLASSIC by the worlds ONLY GENUINE rock `n` roll BADBOYS , all the rest are a bunch of little girls .
This is the 1969 Italian release of the SUPERB Stooges LP on the Italian label Vedette records under licence from ELEKTRA Records USA .
The Stooges by The Stooges .
With the ridiculasly rare gatefold cover.
The one that started it all, I Wanna be your dog , and No Fun , have to be the first punk records ever made , and the classic Anne , certainly gave birth to Grunge , Little Doll , Jesus can music get any better ??? This classic Album is everything the Velvet underground tried to be and more. It sold well... yeah 20 years after its release , but that only means the general public are pretty slow , or is it Iggy and the boys were too fast .
Condition...
The Vynil is a very strong mint minus with a few tiny hairlines that in no way affect the play of the record .Seriously you cant here any clicking. I test played it on my modest £1000 stereo and ended up test playing it three times , its a great album .It plays like mint and my machine is quite sensative . First time i played it was just for the purpose of test playing ,second was i really enjoyed it so played it again. The third time i played it real loud ,still no clicking ,this record has a warm sound to it and when played loud its as if Iggy and the boys are stepping out of the speakers and into the room with you , it plays perfect! The labels ar beautifully clean with hardly any spindle marks at all in fact there bloody lovely. And look at that Vedette label , classy thing isnt it , the black and silver go well . The vynil has retained its high lustre sheen indicating care and lack of use . The vynil is heavy and unusually thick .
I`ve taken as many pictures of the cover as i can to give bidders a good gander, and it has some marks through wear its 36 years old , but no unwanted handwriting anywhere, its amazingly clean and white on the inside of the gatefold , the spine is partly worn (if you do find another , and you wont, all the spines are worn on this spine it still says THE STOOGES ) and there is a small very straight tare in the top of the gatefold that to me dosent at all spoil the acceptability of this rare GEM ! In fact its the cleanest copy ive ever seen ! Front and back colours are bright .
I`ve just made an attemp to list the items faults and it hurt ( this LPs rarety makes it unfair to critisize, its a privalidge to own especially in this great condition) , this item is that rare in my view a REAL STOOGE fan would easily overlook this LPs tiny shortcommings because in this case any minor faults this item may have are outweighed by its rarety .The record plays beautifully, serious bidders , i will play it down the phone to you, any track!
One thing is sure , if you let this slip away for the sake of one bid , you will be kicking yourself for a long long time .If you do find one , and you WONT ! it will not look this good.
Plays perfectly ! And the cover is REALLY CLEAN , just the spine has ware.
Dont sit there and run out of time .Dont sit there waiting for a virus or your computer to freeze if it comes on at all ! And hey ...Dont kid yourself , they will be jumping in at the end for this one!
Get your bids in early ...WIN IT !
Here it is you STOOGES , The rarest of the rare .
Vynil MINT - cover VERY BLOODY CLEAN AND I WOULD BE WELL PLEASED WITH IT . SO WILL YOU!
Gatefold Vedette ITALIANO ! and its right here up for grabs and IN YOUR FACE !!!!
Sell the car , sell a kidney , raise the money and win this .
