THE STOREY SISTERS 'BAD MOTORCYCLE' bw 'SWEET DADDY' 1958 SINGLE.

Pressed in England and released on London 45-HLU 8571.

Tri-centre label.

Play grades as EX/VG.

Both sides have some crackle in the run in/out areas but otherwise they play clearly and brightly with no sticks, jumps or evidence of groovewear.

The 'A' side sounds great and the 'B' side plays very well but has a couple of single 'clicks' just into the side, x3 quiet 'clicks' about 1/3 way in and a couple of places with short lived light 'crackle'.

 When tilted under normal both sides have a few short, light surface marks and the 'B' side has a couple of short, light scratches near the edge.

Under halogen lights there are more short marks visible on both sides.

Company sleeve grades as VG.

No splits or tears, has browned a little in the lighter coloured areas. Also has a record shop stamp, near the die cut hole, on one side with handwritten initials just below it and in the top corner of the other side is a price [6/7].

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.
