Description

Up for auction at is "The Story of Moondog" on the Prestige label, catalog #PRLP 7099. The "deep groove" 50th St. address "promo stamped" label LP is NM (looks unplayed) and has RVG stamped in the trail off vinyl. The cover is VG- with a 6 inch seam split at top right, a 2 inch seam split at bottom center and some chipping on front at the right hand side. The rest is just moderate rubwear on front and some foxing and age discoloration on back. It's a shame that this cover isn't in better shape, but it's just hard enough to find a copy of this LP in any condition. The front cover credits Andy Warhol's mother for the calligraphy. If it really is her handwriting, it is clear where his style came from. Anyway, an LP that is rarely offered and one of my favorite musicians.
