MOTOWN COLLECTORS - ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE ISSUES - ALWAYS HARD TO COME BY.
Here's a very nice original 1965 USA first issue picture sleeve copy of this timeless classic from THE SUPREMES with "BACK IN MY ARMS AGAIN" and backed with "WHISPER YOU LOVE ME BOY" on the US MOTOWN imprint # 1075.
Pricing has always been determined by the condition of the sleeve rather than the record itself and finding a copy with a decent matching picture sleeve has always been a challenge as many have become soiled and dog-eared over time with heavy creasing, rips, written annotations, price stickers, coffee staining as well as the inevitable deletion drill hole and ring wear. On a scale of 1 through 10 with "ten" being mint, I would rate this sleeve as a "7" with moderate ring wear, light creasing, no rips whatsoever and no deletion drill hole but with a small written annotation in the form of a number five just after the 'B' side title on the front cover.
The disc itself plays perfectly throughout with great audible quality and remains in excellent plus condition with some trace of light crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and with light sleeve rubs and some dulling. The labels are clean on both sides other than a trace of sticker removal on the 'A' side and not spoiled by a deletion drill hole and with minimal ring wear making this a very decent copy for the DJ or collector (see picture scans).
From my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check my other listings for more great sounds.
The record will be shipped in a stiffened card outer by Royal Mail Large Letter First Class "Signed For" service only in the UK at a cost of £2.99 or, overseas by "Signed For" service at the costs indicated. This provides protection for both parties in the unlikely event of loss.
Postage discounts available for multiple purchases. Request total and await invoice before making payment.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FEEDBACK WILL ALWAYS BE LEFT BUT ONLY AFTER FIRST RECEIVING THE SAME.
