Release Year: 1967
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, holy grail piece of 1960s Florida garage rock history: the original 1967 pressing of "Too Bad" by The Surprize on the highly collectible Cent Record Co. label. This was the only single ever released under this band name before members later formed the group Mercy. It is an absolute must-have for serious garage, psych, and regional rock collectors.
Condition Details:
Visual Grade: Very Good (VG) / Good Plus (G+). The vinyl shows a good bit of cosmetic surface wear and a couple of light surface scratches.
Structural Condition: Excellent. There are absolutely no chips, no cracks, and no warps. The record is completely structurally solid and sits perfectly flat.
Labels: Bright yellow Cent Record Co. labels. Standard vintage wear around the center spindle hole as pictured, but all text, credits, and tracking info remain fully legible and clear.
Tested: Works great with no skipping that I can notice
