THE TENNORS - REGGAE GIRL

 A very rare 1968 recording on big shot lable

Details;
 the vinyl is in very good plus condition. There are 3 very light surface scratches on side 1 which are not detectable except under strong light.
 Side 2 is unblemished.

The centre lables are free from any form of marks except for light spindal marks.

the matrix numbers read as follows on the run out;
Side 1; BIL+3000+A
Side 2; BIL+3000+B

 The track list is shown in photo 3.

THE SLEEVE.
 The sleeve is in very good condition with a clean undamaged spine. The top edge is also in this condition. The bottom edge has 2 x 1mm marks.
 the sleeve is laminated on the front only and shows 2 ring mark  minor creese's on the right hand side.

As any serious collector of reggae will know this is a very rare item to find on ebay.

"One of the classic though little known groups to come out of the rocksteady era and continue into the reggae years, The Tennors hit with pressure and slide in 1967, going on to enjoy further success with "ride your donkey" a year later, with a revised line up after Maurice Johnson left the original group of Albert Murphy, Norman Davis and Milton Wilson.
  That same year Trojan formed the Big Shot lable and Reggae Girl - one of the earliest songs to use the word "reggae" - was its inaugrial album"

The paper inner sleeve is also original i believe.
