Description
Thanks for stopping by. This is the first pressing of the Waxwork Records release of John Carpenter's "The Thing" composed by Ennio Morricone. The vinyl, entitled the "Trapped In The Ice" variant, is an awesome deep ocean blue with embedded white haze. The breakaway styled "cracked ice" slipcase (high gloss, heavyweight and hand-assembled) is still in the original oversized Waxwork plastic protector with the Waxwork seal. The vinyl itself, inside the slipcase, is still SEALED. This pressing is long out of print and no longer available and includes the 11"x 22" poster insert featuring an exclusive interview with director John Carpenter and the necessary hype sticker. SHARP corners with no bending.
I've taken pics of anything I thought would be remotely questionable. The outer, oversized plastic has a small tearaway on the back from the Waxwork seal (as seen in picture 8.) The insert inside the breakaway box has a very minute warp on the left side, almost unnoticeable (pic 10.) I work diligently to be 100% transparent with grading. Any questions, feel free to ask.
