Description
Hi All, and welcome to the continuation of the thinning out of my boy’s stuff. For your consideration we have:
Title: CELLOPHANE By THE TROGGS

Issue: Original 1967 issue on the lovely PAGE ONE Label
Vinyl Condition visual: The vinyl grades as VG+ and very nearly EX; the vinyl retains much of its gloss and deep sheen and is very clean. There is the minimum of handling marks and a few very light surface scratches, mostly of the type associated with removing the record from the sleeve and not deep ugly ones for needle damage etc.
Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as VG+; A few crackles and minor low level clicks/pops in a few places but nothing too drastic at all. The vinyl sits perfectly flat on the turntable.
Label Condition: Ex; look at the pics, no damage, writing or unwanted blemishes at all.
Cover Front: The front cover Grades as VG+ ; the laminated front is clean and undamaged and has retained its shape. The central image is clear. The lamination is excellent, however, there is some very light and mild laminate creasing in places, mostly but not exclusively restricted to the spine side. All edges are secure. An excellent example of this sleeve.
Cover Back: VG+; the unlaminated back is in VG+ condition being clean and damage free. There is some very slight rubbing in one or two places most notably near to the edges, the flipbacks all very secure and in good order.
Spine: EX; the spine is intact, clean with good lamination cover. It is has retained a fairly square appearance and all the text is very much legible.
Corners: VG; very slightly knocked but mostly retaining sharp and square edges.
Summary: If you collect this wonderful label, and this fab band, and why wouldn’t you, this is a fab one to have in the collection. It's a cracking album to listen to and stuff from this period is certainly going to get more difficult to find in the future as a new wave of vinyl junkies are on the march. Here’s your chance to grab a very decent copy of this TROGGS classic. I send all records out in proper mailers with stiffeners so they should arrive as they left me.
