THE TROJAN STORY 3/LP 1971 TROJAN 1st Press+INSERT

 

This is a very rare 1971 1st UK pressing on the original textured Trojan label, catalogue TALL 1, 100% complete with the elusive original insert. This insert gives all the info behind all of the tracks and is usually missing from this original 1971 set. All three records come in the original poly-lined inner sleeves. All three records have been barely played and are in absolute TOP condition.)

 

Condition.

 

Record. NEAR MINT (TOP CONDITION, ALL SIX SIDES HAVE ALMOST UNPLAYED APPEARANCE. GLEAMING AS NEW VINYL WITH ONLY THE FAINTEST OF SLEEVE BRUSHING VISIBLE WHEN VIEWED AT AN ANGLE UNDER VERY BRIGHT.) 

 

Sleeve. G (WOULD HAVE BEEN A VG BUT FOR THE FACT THERE ARE TWO AREAS ON THE FRONT THAT HAVE BEEN DAMAGED BY THE REMOVAL OF STICKERS. YOU CAN MAKE THEM OUT IN THE TOP PHOTOS ALTHOUGH THEY DO BLEND IN SLIGHTLY WITH THE RECORD LABELS ARTWORK. ONE IS RIGHT AND ABOVE OF CENTRE AND THE OTHER IS ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER. THERE IS SOME GENERAL WEAR DOWN THE SPINE AND ABOUT ONE INCH OF THE TOP PRINT PEELING OF ON THE BOTTOM PART OF THE SPINE. MILD CREASING AND A LITTLE PARTIAL RINGWEAR ON THE BACK. THIS IS ONLY FAINT SO NOT TOO BAD OVERALL.)

 

Insert VG (SLIGHTLY CREASED/CRUMPLED AND COUPLE OF SMALL HANDWRITING MARKS BUT GENERALLY OK)

 

Labels. NEAR MINT (HARD FOR ME TO SEE EVEN A SINGLE SPINDLE MARK)
