THE UNIQUE THELONIOUS MONK Riverside RLP 12-209 dg mono lp 1956 jazz bebop vinyl Shipping Info Description Vintage jazz vinyl: THE UNIQUE THELONIOUS MONK - Riverside Records, RLP 12-209, Contemporary Series; scarce original deep groove mono pressing; white labels with blue print; 7 tracks; released in 1956. Plays with Art Blakey and Oscar Pettiford. We have several other nice Monk records, also just recently listed.
CONDITION: G++/VG- (the vinyl has several long but very light scratches and several short but heavy scuffs, along with some minor general scuffing - it plays VG with some light background, and some areas with light ticks and pops - however, the music come through loud and clear and this is still a very enjoyable and sonically beautiful LP; some smudging and fingerprinting; the labels have a touch of rubbing at spindle hole; the jacket has some tape residue to the cover and several small scars in the top-right corner, back cover has some tape at top edge; spine is very clean; top edge very clean with one tiny scar; minor rubbing to bottom edge).
