Description
This is the 1967 ORIGINAL UK MONOAURAL version of The Velvet Underground and Nico on Verve records .
As all the hardest of the hard Velvets fans know , This , the Mono version by far and away outstrips the stereo version of this record .This is due chiefly to the fact this great record was originally recorded in Mono , then Verve switched it to Stereo at a later date . The difference between the two is huge .
The sleeve is in particularly outstanding shape considdering its white , and 41 years old .Presented here in the Garrod and Lofthouse laminated front sleeve , none laminated rear flipback sleeve , it still has its 1967 original , made in England Patent number inner sleeve . This is the complete original article and not a marriage of another inner sleeve from another record .ALL writings on the spine are fully ledgible .
No RIPS , NO TARES , NO WRITINGS anywhere on this item !
Have a look at the silver on black original Verve record labels , they are clean with only the slightest spindle marks and are in great shape .
The vynil does have some hairlines but they in no way interfeer with the listeners enjoyment of this rare
classic LP . After all it is now 41 years old . The record plays really well crisp and clean and id say plays mint- .
All in all this record is a very concervative
VERY GOOD ++ ( you would have your hands full trying to find a better copy) , and dont forget , record , inner sleeve and album sleeve ALL ORIGINALS .
THE VELVET UNDERGROUND and NICO 1967 UNITED KINGDOM ORIGINAL VERVE MONO .
(if youve never heard the Mono , believe me , you will never play the stereo again).
A very nice copy of a very, VERY rare record .
Penny start and NO RESERVE !
What a rare chance !!!
Expect em jumping in at the end for this one .
