Description
For auction today is a very special copy of the velvet underground and nico. This is the ultra rare, first version pressing from 1967. It is a rare mono, promotional copy given to disc jockeys. Original Verve pressing with yellow promo label. Includes the original cover and dust jacket both in good condition as well aside from some wear to the edges of the cover (see pics). This one has the banana still unpeeled which is very hard to find. As you can see, the very top edge of the banana is starting to peel off slightly but is stable. This is the first version with the "torso" in the picture one the back cover. This is another very rare feature of this particular album. Overall, this is an incredible find and well preserved album which will make its next owner very happy to own and listen to if you choose to do that. Feel free to message me with any questions.
