This is an original MONO pressing of The Velvet Undergound's first LP. This is the gatefold torso cover with the peelable banana sticker still half intact. The MONO mix is amazing, this was the way the record was originally recorded. The vinyl is very shiny and plays/looks excellent. The original Verve inner sleeve is in excellent condition as well. The gatefold cover would be in excellent condition if it weren't for an unfortunate water stain on the bottom in the middle of the gatefold and a small seam split in the upper left corner of the back cover. The cover retains a half unpeeled banana sticker. Overall, this a very nice original pressing.
