Description
This is a rare early pressing of the classic S/T LP by THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO on Verve Records (V6-5008, Matrix / Runout (Runout groove side A): V6-5008 SIDE.1 MGS-558 REV, Matrix / Runout (Runout groove side B): V6-5008 SIDE-2 MGS-559-RE-1) from 1968. An absolutely essential record from this legendary band. The vinyl is in VG- condition with lots of visible surface marks and wear and some audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but an enjoyable copy where the music cuts through the surface noise thanks to a quality vinyl pressing. The gatefold PEELED BANANA cover is in VG- condition with some obvious scuffs and dings and a three-inch seam split at the top right corner of the back gatefold, as pictured. Don't pass this one up!
