Description
This is a rare early pressing of the classic S/T LP by THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO on Verve Records (V6-5008, Matrix / Runout (Runout groove side A): V6-5008 SIDE.1 MGS-558 REV, Matrix / Runout (Runout groove side B): V6-5008 SIDE-2 MGS-559-RE-1) from 1968. An absolutely essential record from this legendary band. The vinyl is in G condition with lots of visible surface marks and wear, some audible surface noise (light crackle) and at least three or four scratches that cause the record to either skip or repeat during the song "Run, Run, Run". Buyer beware! Bid at your own risk! The gatefold PEELED BANANA cover is in G+ condition with some obvious scuffs and dings and a three-inch seam split at the top right corner of the back gatefold, and a seam three inch seam split at the bottom edge, as pictured. Don't pass this one up!
